Service Description

The purpose of the Disinfecting Service, as you might have guessed, is to get rid of any and all germs that may be hanging out inside your vehicle. We’re taking 15+ years of experience in reconditioning interiors and coupling it with recent CDC guidelines to come up with a way to disinfect the entire interior of your vehicle. Here’s what we came up with. First things first, it wouldn’t make any sense if we didn’t take precautions to make sure we don’t bring germs into the vehicle ourselves and to protect our workers so we start by making sure our hands are clean, we wear a fresh pair of nitrile gloves, and use masks to block germs from transferring either direction. The second thing we’re doing is altering our cleaning process to include an extra step for disinfecting all of the hard surfaces of the interior, including leather, with a EPA approved germicidal disinfectant spray. Then, we use an enzyme based cleaner which uses bacteria that feeds on proteins to clean all the soft surfaces. To top it off we use an Ozone Generator to scrub the air inside the vehicle. The Ozone generator depletes all of the oxygen from the air and uses a UV light to kill any airborne micro-organisms. We normally use it for mold and mildew removal and have had great success with it. To finish it all off, we apply some high quality interior conditioner, clean the windows, and give you a call to come pick it up. This is a two-day process so it will need to be dropped off at the shop and you’ll need an appointment.
